I had just recently discovered FOUND and immediately went out and bought the first book on the way to my parents' house for dinner one night. I was showing my parents the book when my mom told me she had found a poem of sorts that had blown in their yard after a storm that had happened that very afternoon. She had thrown it in the trashcan outside, so I had my dad dig it out, and here it is! My mom now knows to never just throw away something so valuable!

I was picking up sticks and other small articles prior to mowing my lawn when I found this nicely folded up piece of paper sitting in the grass, still wet from the morning watering. The paper is a vellum bristol making it substantial enough to stand up to moisture. The characters were produced on a typewriter yet the piece doesn't appear to be very old.

Found this in a copy of a Thornton Wilder play at the library. Next to the word dating, whoever wrote this scribbled out "me." Someone has a very specific picture of their ideal man. Or they're just a stalker.

Daddy Give Me This

A couple of years ago, I received this 5 dollar bill as change from, I don't remember where. On it is written, "Daddy give me this. 11/19/05 He said it would be the last he ever give me. I love Daddy." Recently while scrounging for loose change with which to pay some bills, I lay this bill atop the pile. My daughter asked if times were so tough that I would use this $5. I guess not. At least not until I know the story.
