But What It's Really For

This scrap of paper was found on the floor of the lobby outside 'The Stampede Ranch. Puzzled by what this note meant, it all became clear later that evening during the "Miss Stampede Ranch" competition. The question for which this answer was written was, "Why do cowboys wear belt buckles?" Needless to say, the dame who lost this cue card did not reign victorious.
