ok, maybe insipid, but really, no one thinks this is a little endearing? maybe not the "poem" itself, but the fact that someone (perhaps 80 years old) thought it good enough to handwrite and tuck between boxes of mints? s/he truly thought passing along some wisdom might allow someone to make a new friend.…  more»
