Although i'm not altogether convinced as to the authenticity of this one, i have to say that, judging by the context of this letter, this boy doesn't seem like the kind of child to have a great deal of interest his peers at school etc., and perhaps is genuinely more interested in his comics and spending time alone. Lots of children go through that awkward stage, and I do think it's possible that this boy just doesn't feel on a par with other kids his age and that could be the reason for his slightly odd use of language.…  more»
