About Me: Nine is not nearly enough favorites to list- there's one.. the TV heart one. that should be on this list of favorites, there are probably a hundred more.
I've always been a Finder, too, but never once considered starting a website, let alone a business, based on finding stuff others lost, threw out, or left behind.
Throughout my life, I've moved a lot, and one of my favorite things is Finding stuff under the fridge, under the stove, in the cupboard above the fridge, in attics or basements... all those small, forgotten tidbits left behind by who knows who.
Fascinating. (and I try very hard to LEAVE NO TRACE of my own when I move, lest someone find and post my forgotten tidbits!)
I have a strong, sneaking suspicion that most of the people who have registered here, or will register here are also lifelong "Finders", so I'm sure I'm in very good company. It takes a certain "eye" to find treasure where some see nothing but junk.
Hope you all enjoy this site as much as I do. Long live Found, and hooray for you Found Folks for thinking up such a great way to share your quiet, voyeuristic obsession with the world. I vist daily, (numerous times a day) and enjoy the finds, the commentary, and the witty banter. I learn something new almost every day from this inspired and inspiring bunch of people, and it's great that we're all here.
