This poem is about love as a journey, that draws someone inevitably out of their defensive world into a world that is shared by two people. Its not about someone banging their best friends man, and also the last line isn't a sexual reference.

Likely directed at a homeless person - not necessarily an angry run away. Lots of people lose contact with their families for reasons like drugs or who knows what else. This really made me sad, I hope their son saw this even if he didn't call them.…  more»
